SMART Strategy Marketing Ltd are a telemarketing and telephone answering services organisation that supply services to businesses and individuals. The website, or any other website owned or operated by us (the “Website”) is owned and operated by SMART Strategy Marketing Ltd and the expressions “SMART”,”SMARTstrat”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean SMART Strategy Marketing Ltd whose registered office is at 41 Bridgeman Terrace, Wigan, WN1 1TT.

If you are engaging with one/some of our services…

We need to know some of your personal/business data so that we can register you as a customer and deliver the service(s) selected effectively, and tailor our service(s) appropriately to you. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide our services to you.

What we do with it

All of the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers within the UK. No 3rd parties have access to your personal dataunless the law allows them to do so.

We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.  All of our employees are subject to obligations of confidentiality regarding information which they have access to in the course of their employment including the personal information of customers. All personal information is held in secure computer storage facilities and paper-based files located in a secure facility. We take steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

How long we keep it

If you are just enquiring about a service from us…

We retain your personal data so that we are able to inform you of our latest availability and offers that fit your requirements. We will keep your basic personal data for a period of 1 year or until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information, after which time it will be destroyed.

If you are engaged with our service(s)…

We will keep your basic data for the life span of our business relationship and thereafter for future reference unless requested not to do so. Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us and we will investigate the matter.

You have the right to object. If you want us to cease using your personal data, then you can let us know by emailing us at or by clicking unsubscribe on any of our direct marketing emails. Please note that this may affect the ability for us to provide our goods and services to you.

You have the right to restrict processing. If SMART dispute that the information held is inaccurate and we need a little more time to verify it – you have the right to restrict the processing of your information until this is done.

You have the right to move your data. Data portability allows you to request your data for you to be able to move it elsewhere. We will respond within 1 month of receiving your request when you by email us.

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
